It ain’t Ralph though

You caught me, yes that is flannel – I am embracing my inner Lumberjack.
A statement I never thought I would say, let alone type? To be honest, it is damn right comfortable and those bearded rugged men are onto something! As I continue with determination to live this winter in ripped jeans even taking it to the lumberjack extreme! I had a realisation..
I take a weird amount of joy in not only posting pictures of my juice jars to instagram but then captioning them with some sort of lyric? This was known to me and I embrace it! But this random innocent habit has somehow crept its way into how I converse with people on the daily.

Now we all know there is unspoken girl code in which we hoard Drake lyrics, patiently awaiting the perfect occasion to justify their use – you know its true! But at the very moment I found myself saying ‘It ain’t Ralph though’ as an opinion to a leather jacket, I realised I may have a unique problem?

This unconscious but at times hilarious habit usually confuses the Yeezus out of people? Even with blank faces and all, it can and has led to some awesome conversations about music. This last weekend it did exactly that. I got to chatting with my girlfriends about their favourite lyrics. Not only were they surprising but surprisingly honest. I can say it was not what I expected to do! Chilling curb side with a few hipster juices in hand but it made realise this habit can be kinda fun? Because that one time when I do discover another kindred Kanye spirit who actually gets what I mean by ‘It ain’t Ralph though’ it will be some kind of wonderful.
Gotta love Sundays.
