Island Bar
Ahoy there sailor!
As I reluctantly send off the sweet nights and long sweaty days of the sunny season. I decided to escape to my favourite little bar for one last hurrah!
Sunsets and salty air are all you need.
It is one of the few places where my white on white attire is welcomed with open arms! Yes can you believe it?! I am not alone in this growing obsession! Now lets not let our minds wonder to the Backstreet Boy extreme… but still, it is a known love of mine! Literally on a island in the middle of the harbour, the action centres around an old renovated freight container. With fake grass below your heels and yellow cups in hand, you drink to the sunset amongst the presence of what I believe is the full array of the party shirt spectrum.
It was one of my favourite places with good drinks, good company and just a good ol’ time.
It was the mad style of some of its guests that honesty sparked my interest. It made me really enjoy going there! Whether they donned sailor hats, glitter, headpieces or bow ties, they owned it.
I admire when people are fearless and unapologetic when it comes to showing their personal style.
Deciding last minute to do this feature, I couldn’t help myself but to grab a few snaps with my phone of some of great looks I ran into.
