Do you ever have that moment when you catch yourself boppin’ to a beat in a very public place? Your earphones are a tad too loud and you get lost in it… You begin mouthing the words to that song you just can’t get out your head? Not realising your actions, you only switch back to reality from the highly choreographed day dream when there is a sudden stop or you feel that shaming shadow of someone staring at you??
This morning, that was me.
As I clicked repeat for the third time on my iPhone before 8 am, I caught myself mouthing the words ‘I’m so fancy’… on a train. In peak hour.
Now that is not so fancy haha.
Also I knew I had just shifted to the point of embarrassment when my sister sobered me to the fact with a knowing smirk, a nudge and ‘you’re an idiot’ look that only a sister can give. Ah but you know what? Sometimes you just can’t help it! Or you shouldn’t have to! As Drake would say, own it! (Oh and yes major Drake fan but that is another article)
Recently Miss Iggy Azalea has been dominating my playlist. Not only do I love her music but I admire how fearless she is. I personally think she has mad style which centres around colour, patterns, adventurous cuts and the clashing of genres. Not only is she playful and unique with fashion but she is even more so with her music.
